The clinic is open to anyone, even if you already have a dentist, and is designed to bring reduced cost dental hygiene care to the New Lexington area while giving students hands-on experience.
The Hocking College Dental Hygiene Clinic is staffed by Hocking College dental hygiene students. This clinic has 12 state-of-the-art operatories and care is supervised under the direction of dental hygiene faculty members and supervising dentists.
All of the students working in the clinic have successfully completed training on test mannequins and each other before they work on patients. They use the clinic to meet the requirements they’ll need to become a registered dental hygienist.
